Moreover, companies that possess an annual processing capacity of 10,000 tons or more and achieve an annual recycling volume of 5,000 tons (or 750,000 kilowatt-hours) or more, while maintaining complete records and engaging in the production of precursor materials or positive electrode materials, are eligible for a subsidy of 1,000 RMB per ton (or 6.6 RMB per kilowatt-hour). The maximum subsidy for a single company is capped at 10 million RMB.

Promoting Standard Revision:

To further drive the development of new energy vehicle battery recycling, the government encourages companies to actively participate in the revision of standards. The provincial special fund for energy conservation and circular economy provides incentives to companies leading the formulation of national, industry, and local standards for the recycling of used batteries. These leading enterprises can receive rewards of up to 1 million RMB, 500,000 RMB, and 200,000 RMB, respectively.
